Hello everyone,
Well, it is almost Thanksgiving and Christmas is around the corner. We purchased some of our Christmas presents today. I have a long way to go.
I will be cooking Thanksgiving dinner for a meal we are planning at Duane's home. Vicky has sent out the invitations and I need to get the groceries. We do not know exactly how many will be coming but it sure looks more than 25 people. I will get my "Fix" for cooking again. It is a pleasure to have a big kitchen and ovens that really work well.
We will have Christmas here with the kids and grandkids and then we will go to Ohio for our next Christmas with the rest of the family.
We left Ohio on the ninth of November and spent an evening in Berea, Kentucky, and had dinner with some good friends. The next morning we did the drive from Berea to Denver, N.C. Since we have been here it has been a whwhirlwind of activities. My Mom and brother came down to Charlotte on Monday so we have been busy driving an hour to have activites with them since they are staying in Charlotte. Tomorrow Walt is going to the Nascar Museum with my brother in Charlotte. I have the plan to do some shipping on my very own. I may just have to look around because it is not a day for bargains.
