February 1, 2011---Snow in Albuquerque

Life is not  fun right now. Walt is trying to keep everything from not freezing and I am trying to stay cool despite his stress. We woke this am with light snow and cold. It has gotten colder all day and the weather forecast does not look good. The big problem is to keep our basement warm enough so the lines and tanks don't freeze. We have taken all our water lines in to the shower to defrost and are using water from jugs very sparingly.  This is a real test of how to survive in our home which we have kept in warmer weather since we have lived in it.
