February 4, 2011---Albuquerque

Today we finally are getting back to normal. It was warmer today so we were able to put our water hose out again and all went well when we turned the water on. We did not have any leaks. Thank the Lord.  It was about 2 p.m. when we turned the water on, so Walt gave Bart a bath after a long walk.

The local town of Bernalillo which we were near has been out of natural gas for a few day. The newscasters are  telling everyone that the natural gas will be back in a day or two. They will have to turn off the gas line at each home,  then start the gas flow and relight all the pilot lights after turning on the gas at each individual home. They have hired 400 extra people to help this happen.

We finally left home this evening. The local church had mass at  5:30 pm and then we went out to dinner.
Almost everyone must have been eager to get out so the restaurant was busy. It was Dion's, a pizza place, and the food was very good.

Tomorrow we hope to spend some time in the old town of Albuquerque.
